AccessNavajo is a company founded by myself and 2 of my associates with the intent of creating books for learning the Native American Navajo langauge. I was primarily the creative engine, while my associates dealt with the Navajo langauge, one being a linguist and the other a Native America Navajo citizen and speaker. Because of time constraints, I had to leave the company after a couple years, but I still do the creative work on a contract basis.
Along with creating all the covers and layouts of the books, I also created the site (AccessNavajo) to sell the books. Included in the site, I created a drag-and-drop game that was meant to test the reader's language abilities. The game was eventually dropped for a downloadable game when I left the company. You can still try it out here.

This venture had many unique learning opportunites. Namely, getting books published on Amazon, and all the ins and outs of doing so. The book covers were fun and the site was pretty basic. The drag-and-drop verb game was the most challenging and fun part of the process. It involved learning many aspects of CSS3, HTML5, PHP, MySQL, and database usage. You can try it here.
