Some friends needed a table, but it came with a long and complicated list of features that they wanted. It needed to be a large table that could break down into 2 smaller tables. They also needed it to fold for storage. Since they had no storage in their NYC apartment, they needed it to properly stand up, while folded, in front of their bookcase. Also, the build needed to be as economical as possible.

The folding mechanism was not the greatest of quality. I would to have liked to get something sturdier, but the budget didn't allow it.

I used poplar as the table surface wood. If I had a large budget, I would have preferred something harder like oak.

Overall though, it was sturdy and strong once I finished it. And it had all the features they requested.

Before I sent the table off to be with its new owners, I wanted to record a video on how to use it and give an overview of the various features that they requested.
