"600+" Landing Pages

As our classic, quirky content began to wane in the early 2010s, we started to heavliy advertise the utility of our browser toolbars on our pages. We started seeing value in really pushing the SEO of our pages and decided to add massive amounts of copy to our pages. We dubbed these the "600+" pages, because we aimed to have at least 600 relevant words on the pages. With this much page copy, we had to get creative in the way we needed to display the information. Below are some of the pages I designed in this creative era.

Minimalist Banner Ads

Our testing started to show that less-is-more when it came to banner ads. We still tried to make them 'pop', but as you can see in the ads I created below, we were trending in a very minimalist direciton. Adobe Flash had been disabled in most browsers, so we ditched animations and went with static graphics.
